Se called me and said it was making a noise and I couldn’t hear it over the phone and she couldn’t describe it to me. Then we got disconnected.

Meanwhile I am also driving workwards.

My wife arrives at work and tells me her tire is flat and probably has been the whole 30 minutes she’s been driving.

We don’t have a spare for the Soul we have a pump and a can of secret Kia sauce. Normally that’d be fine but I imagine the inside of the tire is fucked up. The outside of the tire looks fine and the wheel shows no signs of damage.

So I pulled the tire off and dropped it off for an cheapo tire that I’ll go put back on later.

I guess it is time to source another steelie and use this cheapo for a full sized spare.

That’s really weird: I’ve gotten two flats in my Soul, and both were the right-rear tire.

My wife did that once, she was ‘only’ 2 miles from home and figured it would be easier (for me) to take care of it in our driveway.

Completely messed up the sidewall, the tire was less than one month old....

Nope. I got it used, so it didn’t even come with the goo. I got a spare at the junkyard, though.

I guess thankfully these tires are pretty trashed and we were planning to change all 4 pretty soon. Much sooner now.

According to car-part.com if you’re looking for a donut spare Sonatas Rondos and Azeras have the same wheel.... not sure about the tire size tho.

Nah I’m going to go with full size spare. I want just get another steelie and swap the one with the cheapo tire right into the cargo area and get 4 new good tires.
